"The way of the warrior"Chef Iwao Suzuki is the Chef at Bushido Restaurant in Mountain View. Chef Suzuki was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan where from an early age, learned to cook from his aspiring mother and pursued to go to culinary school. After working in various restaurants in Japan, he emigrated to the United States to strive for his dream of being an Executive Chef in the United States. After working for 10 years under a prestigious and well known Japanese chef in San Jose, he moved on to become the executive chef of Blowfish Sushi in Santana Row for 10 years. Chef Suzuki has developed the skills to harmoniously combine his traditional knowledge of Japanese ingredients and techniques with the food scene found here in the Bay Area that truly defines the history and progression of fusion cuisine.
